Frequently asked Questions

How fit do i need to be?

Our tours are designed for people of all fitness levels. It is not a tour designed for the next olympian, but instead for the average person looking for a fun day out.

Do I need to be able to ride a bike?

Yes, even though you will not be riding very far in any section you will need a basic knowledge of how to ride a bike. Instruction on safety and bike use is given at the beginning of each tour.

Can kids come?

Children are welcome to come on our tour. However they need to be able to operate a small adult mountain bike. This will most likely be from the ages of 12 and up.  We now have added bikes for kids 5-11 now too. (the kids are often better riders than the parents!)

Can we drink alcohol on the tour?

During the ‘Wine, Worms and Waterfall Tour’ we visit a working vineyard. Due to Australian drink driving laws you cannot operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Please see your tour guide or call us for further information.

For Brisbane travellers

We unfortunately cannot do pick ups from Brisbane, however a regular train service between Gold Coast and Brisbane exists. We Can do pick ups from the Helensvale train station at 7am. Other than that many Brisbane travellers often opt to meet up on the mountain so as to be able to spend more time at the many Arts and Crafts shops avaivable.
